This track blends a beautiful vocal performance by Albi and the intricate production skills of Sober Rob & Pham. We’re big fans of Sober Rob here at Malaysian Safari, check out our previous article to hear some of the best songs by Sober Rob. Pham is a less-familiar name so we did some research. Pham is a Polish producer who has been releasing music for no more than a year. We specifically like the track, “Talk To Me (ft Anuka)” – listen to the song here. The decision to team up with Sober Rob, an equally new producer, exemplifies the value of young, talented minds.
This song, as released on Zeds Dead’s label, Deadbeats Records, marks a huge step towards Sober Rob and Pham’s visibility as artists. Clearly Deadbeats is investing in fresh, diverse artists so looking forward to hearing more – in the meantime be sure to check out the artist tracks on Soundcloud and show support for these expert producers.

If you’re in it for the drugs and not the music don’t listen to Sober Rob. If you enjoy a fusion of future bass and wonderful arrangement, listen to Sober Rob. Recently popular on Soundcloud, Sober Rob is part of a wave of new Boston producers. As Boston becomes more relevant in the U.S. music scene, it takes excellent production and mixing to stand out. Sober Rob’s music will intoxicate its listeners, which is ironic. Don’t miss out on Sober Rob’s most recent mix, promoting his headlining concert at ‘Sound Waves’, an electronic cruise featuring fresh future bass and trap artists on two different decks. Also be sure to check out Palmingo’s promo mix for Sound Waves, safari approved. Stay tuned for photos and coverage from Malaysian Safari as well. Sound Waves is April 1st – presale tickets are $15.

Just a few minutes ago Datsik announced his new 4-month tour, “Ninja Nation Tour,” which will be coming to [hopefully] a place near you in between January and April! In his Facebook post, Datsik said
- “I’m really excited to be going back on the road for what is undoubtedly going to be the biggest tour I have ever done. We are gonna be on the road for four months with some insane new talent as well as some names you’ve grown to love. We will have the infamous [100,000W] PK sound system with us again and the new Vortex 3.0 at most of the shows.”
I think I can let that last sentence speak for itself. I don’t know about you guys, but after reading that, this show became top priority for me, especially since I plan on attending the very first night of the tour in Boston. Get excited everyone! Datsik never fails to blow everyone’s minds.
Today the New England native jam band Dopapod released their newest full length album, Never Odd or Even! Dapapod have really been on a roll lately and are currently on tour with Umphrey’s McGee. I, along with the rest of their email subscribers, was lucky enough to get sent a free copy of the album to enjoy, so you already know I’m jamming out to it and loving it already. You can listen to the first track, Present Ghosts, and buy the album here! Enjoy everyone. 🙂
Shout out to Evstboi – show him some love on Facebook – Twitter – Soundcloud.
Evstboi is an up-and coming producer from Philadelphia. He’s 20 years old and picked up producing about a year ago. Since then, he has put out consistent remixes and original work. One of my favorites is his remix of Shit by Future. Last week, Evstboi released a remix of Love Alright by Crystal Fighters. This remix is chill trap song which shows off Evstboi’s versatility. Stay tuned for more dope music from Evsboi.

As many may have heard earlier this month, Avicii has cancelled all events until further notice. Only leaving festivals like TommorowWorld and Insomniac’s Escape All Hallow’s Eve with the question of who would take his place. Fortunately, for TomorrowWorld Kygo will be replacing Avicii on the main stage this weekend. Only leaving the question, who will replace him at Escape All Hollow’s Eve in Los Angeles this Halloween.
This past week, a tweet has been circulating all social media platforms of a fan asking the #1 DJ, Armin van Buuren, if he would be able to replace Avicii’s spot. Armin Van Buuren tweeted back saying he could, and by the look of it Pasquale Rotella, creator of Insomniac, does not have a problem with this happening either.
So the question stands, will Armin van Buuren take Avicii’s spot at the NOS Center in Los Angeles, California for Escape All Hallow’s Eve or does Rotella already have someone in mind? Keep posted and find out!
