Turn Up With Slander And Dombresky On Their Superhuman Tour 9/8 at Royale

Slander is an American DJ duo consisting of Derek Anderson and Scott Land based in Los Angeles. They are best known for their unique sound and subgenre “heaven trap”. If you haven’t heard of this genre, check out the dreamy synths in their latest release “Superhuman” ft. Eric Leva.

Anderson and Land met at their fraternity at UC Irvine in California and became friends through their love of producing music. They later went to and graduated from Icon Collective, a music production school together with NGHTMRE. The name Slander was combined from both their names names: “S(cott) Land” and “Ander(son)”. Now they are blowing up fast in the EDM scene and have already performed at EDC (Las Vegas, Orlando and Mexico), Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Zoo and Sun City Music Festival.

Check out their lit EDC set from this year:

Slander is also a part of the Gud Vibrations radio show with NGHTMRE (which you should follow on soundcloud). The radio show had a hugely successful tour this fall and we’re sure they will be touring again soon.

You don’t want to miss them when they come to Royale 9/8 for their Superhuman Tour. They will most definitely have the crowd going wild.

Get Pumped Because It’s Out! Keys N Krates’ Every Nite EP

I know if I want to get down and feel good Keys N Krates is one of my go-to’s so their release of their EP Every Nite is something I have been looking forward to. There’s just something inside me that can’t be stopped when one of their songs comes onto the speakers. Everything from their dirty trap build-ups to their deep drops ornamented with sound effects of heavy breathing is pure gold. Their electro-hip-hop combo meshes live sampling with drums, sound effects, and keys (of course). Also if you take a look at the way the EP is organized, the boys seem to have ordered their songs in a purposeful way. Take a listen and tell us what you think:

All 6 songs, some of which were already released as singles, can be found on SoundCloud, YouTube, iTunes, or Spotify. Please, do yourself a favor, and turn this up on some good speakers! If you missed it, here’s a mix for RINSE FM that Keys N’ Krates cut together 9/19 to promote their new music.

Suken Debuts ‘I am Suken’ & ‘Best Friend’ Remix

French producer Suken redefines the standards for modern electro in his debut original, ‘I am Suken’. Even though we’re slightly late to the game on it’s release, this deliciously upbeat track is both undeniably catchy and masterfully mixed, not to mention it reminds us of everyone’s favorite trancetic electro-house producer, Madeon. Listen to his equally brilliant remix of Foster the People’s ‘Best Friend’ and be sure to keep this guy on your radar.
