Let’s face it, no one can crush a festival lineup better than Gary Richards (AKA Destructo). Just when you thought HARD couldn’t keep one-upping itself twice a year, they bust out a hysterical announcement video starring none other than Dillon Francis and his musical silverware among other rostered performers like Chromeo, Mija, Skrillex, and Porter Robinson who stars in the new Spoon U duo with Dillon. Richards has a solid tap on what electronic music fans want; intense spooning, Dillon Francis losing his shit/expressively dancing, and an extremely well rounded collection of acts for a price that few two day festivals can deliver ($169… less than two bucks per artist on the current lineup – although let’s not forget the fact you have to tear your heart between two artists too often at every one of these festivals anyway).

In the trailer, Gary nails in the point that HARD isn’t just a ‘rave’ despite contrary belief and pokes fun at the notion of rebranding. The festival proudly hosts a remarkably diverse bill of the wettest artists in the game right now, including everything from rap (Schoolboy Q, Young Thug, Fetty Wap, DJ Mustard) to classic EDM headliners (Jack U, Dillon Francis, Odesza, The Glitch Mob, Tchami), branching out to more indie-friendly music (Ratatat, Caribou, Jamie XX, Slow Magic) and including a proper dose of deep house (Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Jauz, Shiba San). That being said, HARD knows how to please tasteful electronic music heads with trap all-stars (Hudson Mohawke, Lunice, Mr. Carmack, RL Grime, Milo & Otis), electro-swing/funk artists (Big Gigantic, Griz), dubstep legends (Zeds Dead, Bro Safari, Dirtyphonics), the futuristic love-trap squad (What So Not, Lido, GANZ, Daktyl, Sweater Beats), and other phenomenal performers such as Porter Robinson, Branchez, Giraffage, GTA, Overwerk, Valentino Khan, and none other than Destructo himself.

“People needed something amazing. I came at the right time”

If that massive roster isn’t genre-mixing enough, than dig into the rest of the acts on this unimaginable feat of a lineup (below) which still has more artists yet to be announced. Be sure to cop a ticket because this is some serious ish you’re not gonna want to miss.
