After headlining nearly every festival this season, launching the young Foreign Family Collective, and following the release of ‘In Return (Deluxe Edition)’, Odesza has been a non-stop shop for refining their craft. The Seattle-based duo have been implementing impressive elements of showmanship to their live sets by adding tom drums, cymbals, and even live instruments like an elusive trombone player and the multi-talented Jai Wolf crushing the bass and electric guitar. In addition, they’ve remarkably stepped up their visual game with flushed animations of outer space, watercolors, and even projections based off of the ‘In Return’ album artwork.
Regardless of if you’ve seen Odesza before, the In Return World Tour delivers a fresh experience on their style, featuring entirely original music with finely polished live versions of each of their sensational discography. The two have upped the ante for electronic artists around the globe, and are continually pushing the boundaries on what we consider mainstream electronic dance music to be. Although many of their shows sold out within minutes of going on sale, you can still catch them in a handful of US cities with Jai Wolf and other members of Foreign Family on the last leg of their World Tour.
