After a bit of time under the radar, electro house producer Mord Fustang is emerging from the depths to produce a new album. This piece, titled 9999 in 1, will be Fustang’s first full-length album. The album theme will be based around Mord Fustang’s obsession with video games and video game music. The music on this album will feature a lot of analog synths, complex chord builds, and fat, bassy breakdowns. Although his style has changed very little since his roots in songs like “Milky Way” and “Lick the Rainbow”, we can expect more of the same on 9999 In 1 (in the best way possible).
Pre-order 9999 In 1 here (out January 20, 2015).
Listen to “Pop” feat. LIINKS:
The second single off his album is titled “Pop” and featues LIINKS, a Canadian Pop duo. “Pop” has all the elements of a typical Mord Fustang song: sexy synths, bold bass, and shiny, high-pitched notes. In addition to the high-quality production, the song also has fitting vocals from LIINKS. Also be sure to listen to “Drivel”, the first single from 9999 In 1. Surely a lot of producers respect Mord Fustang’s distinct style and dedication to electro house and analog. Stay tuned with Fustang and stay tuned until 2015 for 9999 In 1.
