Whatever group of people run HARD have an amazing knack for organizing outstanding lineups for dance music. Earlier this year HARD organized HARD Summer, featuring big-ticket names such as Jack U, Tiesto, Dillon Francis, and countless others. HARD also organizes Holy Ship! which will bring in more names like Skrillex, Knife Party, and Flume. Just check out Hardfest’s website and you can see that these organizers really know how to target EDM-oriented audiences and have them drooling over the incredible lineups they put together.
This November, HARD has organized a Hard Day of the Dead (though it’s more like days of the dead) with the following headliners: Knife Party, Pretty Lights, Diplo, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris, Zedd, and Bassnectar. Those artists alone are enough to bring in raves of ravers – but then there are the supporting acts! To name a few I would be excited to see: Big Gigantic, Tchami, Zeds Dead, SNAILS, TJR, plus dozens of up and coming artists. I wish I lived on the west coast because honestly, this festival lineup is better than any of the summer festivals in 2014. Another mention, what is this deadmau5 vs. Eric Prydz situation? I know the two are rumored to be working together on a song and deamdau5 has been lying low lately, so I’m interested to see what type of shenanigans the mouse will be up to at Hard Day of the Dead.
